A.
In the story “Of Mice and Men” the character Curly is like the bully of the story. Curly is a short professional boxer who doesn’t like people who’s larger than him. Curly maybe doesn’t like bigger people because people larger than him probably bullied him when he was younger. When he got older he probably got sick of people bullying him and became a boxer.

George and Lonnie are very close in the story. George looks after Lonnie most of the story. Lonnie causes trouble for George. George will probably be a better person without Lonnie. Because he wont get in much trouble like he did when he was with Lonnie. George maybe will have a family and live a good life, wont have to worry about getting beat up or murdered.

Beyond The Line Questions
Q.
How does the boss in the story relate to myself?
A.
In the story “Of Mice and Men” there’s the boss who George and Lonnie are working for. This character and myself have something in common. I can relate myself to the boss in the story. The boss in the story is short, organized, and not a fake person.
The boss was described as a short and fair person in this story. I myself can relate myself to the boss because I’m short and like to be fair with other people in my presence. The way the author described the boss was a lot common to me. The author described the boss a short and well dressed man who’s organized and about his work. I like to accomplish things early and be well organized.
It seems in the story that the boss doesn’t take anything from anybody. He seems to like keep to himself. I keep to myself most of my time too. I don’t like to deal with other people because I like to be in charge of everything. I only depend on myself and not other people. I like to stay organize with everything. I don’t like working with other people because sometimes people can just mess up everything with you. Also when George and Lennie arrived at the ranch late the boss took out a booklet and wrote something. That made it seem like the boss was organized and a very busy man. I like to be motivated and busy.
The boss in this story was real with everything. The boss told George and Lennie how he felt about them when they arrived at the ranch. I do the same exact thing as the boss. If somebody do something wrong I tell them about themselves. I don’t feel comfortable talking about people behind there back. I believe its dumb to talk about someone behind they back. That does nothing but start trouble and I really don’t have to be getting in trouble.
The boss wasn’t really a factor in this story. You’ll only hear from the boss once in this story. I really couldn’t relate myself to anyone else in this story. My personality was basically like the boss in this story. Everything the author described about the boss was almost exactly like myself.
